Brunate: Contemporary Living in a Historic Lakeside Villa

Villino Agrifoglio, an elegant Art Nouveau residence from 1930, completely renovated, where historic charm meets a contemporary vision of living. With its 260 sqm of interior space set within an 800 sqm garden, Villino Agrifoglio represents a project of refined architectural reinterpretation, designed to enhance the villa's original identity through carefully selected materials, bespoke details, and a sophisticated aesthetic language. The intervention has preserved and reinterpreted the historic elements of the residence, maintaining the authentic character of the Art Nouveau dwelling and integrating it with contemporary solutions of strong material and aesthetic impact. The dramatic original stone staircase in local lake stone accompanies the home's spaces, while the marble fireplaces become central elements of the project, contributing to create a warm and elegant atmosphere. The ground floor is characterized by Venetian terrazzo flooring, capable of dialoguing with the light and the building's historic character. On the upper floor, natural parquet introduces a more intimate and welcoming dimension.

The kitchen, entirely crafted in steel to a dedicated design, combines aesthetic rigor and professional functionality.

The decorative selection enhances the villa’s character through iconic and refined wallpapers, signed by international designers and maisons such as Guilt, Lacroix, and Fornasetti, which contribute to defining a sophisticated and strongly distinctive language.

Outside, the 800 sqm garden has been completely redesigned according to architect Pandacovich’s vision, recovering the tradition of the Italian garden in a contemporary key.

A balance of geometries, greenery, and perspectives that transforms the outdoor space into a place of tranquility and distinction, perfectly integrated with the villa’s identity.
